All Double Happiness jewelry pieces are designed by Stephanie Wells and manufactured by hand in her Southern California studio. Inspired by her travels abroad, aesthetics from past time periods, her daily life, etc.every season she finds new inspirations for her line. Although the inspiration and collections change, her style and technique remain distinctly her own.

A wish list is a very useful tool in today’s fast pace, tech savvy world.  I find that it not only helps your dear ones to peer into the world that is ‘you’, but it also helps as a reference tool for yourself.  Once I add to my wish list, I can return to that item and all the others I had my eye on, without spending too much time trying to find it again.

It’s possible that Amanda Sterett’s eye for detail and design is a trait carried within her genes. She is quick to recognize family members responsible for cultivating her sense of style. Her father is a sculptor, painter, and a remodeling designer. Her mother owned a popular children’s clothing boutique. But it was her grandmother’s jewelry collection that inspired the foundation of her jewelry business.

Amanda prides herself on ‘cherry-picking’ the best stones for her work from all parts of the world. All stone is natural and either precious or semi-precious. All metal used in the making is either 14K gold-filled or sterling silver materials. In addition, all jewelry is handmade in her studio in Dallas, Texas.

Pyrrha Design is a Vancouver, Canada based jewelry design company established and run by couple Wade Papin and Danielle Wilmore.  Wade and Danielle met in 1993 and after spending a year of relative isolation together, started creating their own jewelry designs and their own company.  The name of Pyrrha Design is derived from the Greek deity Pyrrha, daughter of Pandora, who is said to be an expert stone thrower.  Wade and Danielle are self taught jewelry makers who construct each symbolic filled piece at their studio in Vancouver by casting authentic 19th century wax seals.  

Danielle and Wade take pride in their company, Pyrrha Design, and have made it a priority to be environmentally responsible.  They make their jewelry without chemical cleaners, use biodegradable bags and containers to package their products and also use reclaimed silver and gold to construct their jewelry.  

Each piece of Pyrrha jewelry carries it’s own symbolic meaning which is depicted from the 19th century wax seals that years later still continue to symbolize the immortal struggles and accomplishments of the world.  The Carpe Diem Necklace embodies the timelessness that is Pyrrha Design.  The wax seal is that of an hour glass with wings, symbolizing the Latin phrase ‘Carpe Diem’ which translates to ‘Seize The Day.’
