How to Shop RainCollection.com
Create a New Account
|With your new account you can easily manage your shipping addresses, order history, and wish lists. If you would like to create an account at Rain Collection, click on the "create account" link at the top right of any page. Make a note of the email address and password that you enter. This will be your login information when shopping at Rain Collection.|
|If you would like to login to your account, click on the "login" link at the top right of any page. Enter the email address and password you used to create your account. If you would like Rain Collection to remember your login information, check the "Keep me logged in for two weeks" box. If you ever forget your login information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be happy to remind you of your account information.|
|Once logged in, you may manage your account information by clicking on the "manage account" link at the top right of any page. Under the Manage My Info tab you can update your first and last name, email address and password.|
|Under the Addresses tab, you may update your stored billing and shipping addresses, or add a new address. To edit an existing address, click on the name of the address you wish to update. To add a new address, click on the link allowing you to do so.|
|Once you click on an address name that you would like to update, you will be directed to a page that allows you to change any necessary information. Click "Update" when finished.|
|To view your order history, click on the Orders tab. Here you may view all past and present transactions, check the status of an order, print your receipt and track your package.|
Create a Wish List
|Creating a wish list is a great way to let your loved ones know what it is you crave, or a place to consolidate your favorite items so that you may always return to them when you wish. From the product page, click on the link that says "add to wishlist." |
| A confirmation box will appear confirming that the selected item has been added to your wish list. You may then choose to continue shopping or to view your wish list.|
|When viewing your wish list, you have the option to make it public so that others may see it, or private for personal reference. To delete an item from your wish list, simply click on the red and the item will be removed.|
Email a Friend
|See something you think someone else might like? Email a friend with our easy to use "send to friend" feature.|
| Enter your name and email address followed by your friend's name and email address and voila! Your friend will receive an email with a link to the product that you sent them. Need a Larger Quantity?
|If you receive an error message in your shopping cart stating that the quantity you've requested is not available, feel free to send us a message requesting a larger quantity on the product page by following the "Need a Larger Quantity" link. You will be able to send us your information, the quantity you are looking for, when you would like to receive them by, and any other information that you wish to share.|

Adding Product to your Shopping Bag
|Once you've chosen the product that you wish to purchase, it's time to add that product to your shopping bag. First, enter the quantity of items you wish to buy in the quantity box. A product subtotal will show up directly under the price for any quantities chosen that are greater than 1. Then click the "Add to Bag" button.|
|A confirmation box will appear confirming that the selected item has been added to your shopping bag. From here, you can either choose to continue shopping or checkout.|
How to Shop Pages with Multiple Products
Shopping a page that offers a variety of products will be shopped a little differently than pages with one product.
|When multiple products are on a page they may have different prices. In order to view the price for a specific product and add that product to your shopping bag, you must first select that product. You may select a product in one of two ways.|
|By selecting the product from the menu drop down box...|
|...or by selecting the product from the image library. Once selected, the product price will be revealed and you may proceed to adding an item to your shopping bag.|
Shopping Bag Overview
|When you've added your last item to your shopping bag and select checkout, you will be brought to the shopping bag page. The "Shopping Bag" is where you can view all of your selected items and make any adjustments necessary prior to checkout. You can update quantities by entering a new quantity number in the box and selecting update. Or you may delete items you no longer wish to purchase by selecting the red .|
|If a certain quantity that you have requested is not in stock, the shopping bag will inform you in red text that you have requested a quantity greater than what is available. It will also list the total quantity that is currently in stock. The shopping bag will ask you to lower the quantity requested to a value equal to or less than the quantity available before continuing.|
|If you have a coupon or promotional code, you will enter that in the shopping bag. Go to the line that reads, "Have a coupon?" and click. A coupon code box will appear. Enter the coupon code you have and click "Enter Coupon". If the coupon code is still valid, the discounted amount will be reflected in your shopping bag. If the coupon has expired, you will receive an error message stating that the coupon is expired.|
|To calculate your shipping options, enter your 5 digit shipping zip code and click "Enter Zip." Three shipping options will appear: Standard Shipping, 2nd Day, and Next Day. For Alaska and Hawaii, only Standard Shipping and 2nd Day options are available.|
When in Checkout, you have the option of prefilling the fields by logging into your account at the top of the page, or to fill them in manually
|Step 1: Enter the name and address of to whom and where you would like your order shipped.|
|Step 2: Enter your email address. We will never send you spam or sell your email address. By entering your email address, you are giving us permission to send you a copy of your order receipt via email as well as any tracking information coinciding with your order. If you are shipping your order to yourself and the billing address that is on file with your credit card company is the same as your shipping address, select "Same."|
|Step 2: If the billing address on file with your credit card company is different from where you are shipping your order, select "Different" and enter your billing address here.|
|Step 3: If there is anything you would like us to know about your order, you may enter your comments and instructions here. If your order is a gift and you would like to add a complimentary gift card, type the gift card message you would like on your card here.|
|Step 4: Confirm the shipping method you chose in the Shopping Bag. If you would like to make any changes, you may do so here.|
Step 5: Review your order and enter your payment information here. Select your credit card type from the drop down menu
- Enter your 15 or 16 digit credit card number.
- Enter the verification code listed on your card.
- Select the expiration month and year from the appropriate drop down menus.
- Review your order. Once you are ready to submit your order for processing, click "Complete Your Order."
| The verification code for American Express is a 4 digit code listed on the front of the card. On Visa, MasterCard and Discover, the verification code is a 3 digit number listed on the back of the card. For further questions, click on the information button located next to the Verification Code box.|
|Once you place your order you will be directed to an order confirmation page. Make note of your order number listed on this page. You may print this page for your records. You will also receive this same order confirmation via email at the time your order is placed. Your order will ship out within 24 business hours. Once it does, you will also receive tracking information via email regarding your package.
