Chicago Subway Token Cufflinks - Gold Plated

Authentic coins from the Chicago Transit system are paired with gold plate to create a pair of cufflinks with recycled nostalgia. Used from 1922 to 1999, Chicago's tokens were distinguished by three symmetrical cuts in the token's minting. This was an excellent example of the industrial design of that period, showing how a common object could be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
