Jan Barboglio designs and creates decorative and sculptural iron accessories inspired by historic Mexico. Each piece is hand worked. It is individually cast or wrought, hammered, sanded and hand finished. Slight irregularities, imperfections, and variations of shading and texture are characteristic of the material and the Old World finishing process that adds to its distinct beauty. Each piece is artistically embossed with her signature stamp, slightly different, and equally unique.

So treasured a skill, that in the 17th Century, craftsmen were recruited by the French Court to bring this art to France.
